Board time

No matter what I try to do, the board time is always wrong. It's always an hour behind, no matter if I use DST or not, or have it auto. Any ideas on why??

Thanks in advance!

Make sure the server time/timezone is setup correctly.

Yeah I have done this. Right now, I have it showing my correct time where I am, but it's totally in a different time zone compared to what I'm suppose to have. The server time I got from my host was that it's based on PST ?? and when I ran a timenow.php it shows me:

So for some reason, I had to put my board time in ACP at GMT -7:00 Mountain Time (US & Canada), and have daylight savings time enabled. And in my User Cp on my account i have to have it set to, GMT -4:00 Atlantic Time and have it set to DST corrections always on. Those settings are way beyond what I am suppose to have (I'm from Va so in the Eastern time zome), but this is what I have to have to get it to work for me ???

My users are also having this issue, and the time is off for them. :(

Hello PinkDaisy,
I had the same problem too but eventually figured it out. Check these two things:

1. In you admin cp make sure you select the right time zone (sounds like you did this part already)

2. When you are logged in on your board, go you your user cp and set your time zone there too. (This is the one i usually missed).

Let me know if that works.

That is done and been way done. Like I said before, the settings now are way off my timezones, but for some weird reason, it's showing up right now. ??

I also had the same problem. It is usually came from the server time. If you are handling your own server, for example Windows bla bla, search at the michaelsoft support. It works for me without reinstalling the OS. For your referrence https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=145032 :)

All times are GMT. The time now is 09:24 PM.
