Does Vbulletin run with IIS ?
 

Probably this questoin was asked earlier but I could not find an answer searching for IIS.
Hi I am changing server and I would like to know if vbulletin works in windows 2003 server and IIS.
Right now my set up uses Windows and Apache + Mysql and it works great.

Yes, vbulletin can run under IIS as long as you have php and mysql configured for it. Not sure if there are any specific nuances to consider though as I haven't used this setup myself.

Yes vBulletin will run on IIS (or any other webserver that supports PHP). I must warn you though that it can be a bit cumbersome to correctly configure IIS with PHP. If you are using IIS, then make sure that you are using PHP as FastCGI and not as Isapi.

If you have the choice, then my personal choice would be not to use IIS but apache or similar.

Passporter.com runs vbulletin on IIS6 with vbseo working pretty good. I do think it runs better in apache on linux but I know Microsoft is working with Zend to narrow this gap and although you can only run in CGI or ISAPI, they have a beta port of FastCGI for IIS right now available from iis.net and will have this released very soon.
