Hi

I want to change the my vbulletin url. from mydomain.com/vb/ to mydomain.com/forum/

Most of the search engines are using old URL if i change to the new one i will lost all index pages. Is there any modification to let the users to refer to same page when they click to old url.

See the 404 script that comes with ImpEx.

or keep the folder /vb/ and add a redirect to it

What we're trying to say, is KEEP your /vb/ folder and a redirect file in there so if someone clicks /vb/ they will automatically be redirected to /forum/

redirect scrpit to my new URL
NEW URL mywebsite.com/forum/showthread.php?p=123456

if i put normail redirect to this vb i will go to
NEW URL mywebsite.com/forum/index.php

yes use impex. i think that'll work

the 404 error page from ImpEx is made to fit that redirect properly...
