Icon for subscribers
 

Is there a way to put a little icon next to the username of posters that become subscribers? Like a 2nd avatar, but everyone gets the same one, and on the other side. Something that appears in their profile and on individual posts.

Are your subscribers in a specific usergroup? If so, template conditionals will do it for you.

Do you know of a mod that does this? I know zero about coding.

Yes, they'd be assigned a 2nd usergroup.

It increased paid memberships ten fold when people started being reminded in every thread that it is an option to become a subscriber with added benefits.

If you can't code, you don't have IM, and there isn't a mod, I think you're out of luck though

So I guess my question is: if it's actually a good idea, why doesn't someone make a mod?

because it takes 7 seconds to modify the "subscribers" user group templates to make it work.
