Incorrect server time
Hello guys, recently I have a problem with my server time. I just want to know, how to fix it? For example, in my vbulletin forum, it says All time are GMT, the time now is 6.08am but the actual time is 9.08pm. I know the problem is not coming from vbulletin because after I reinstall again apache, the time is correct again. But now. it won't nomore. Please help me.
:P Thanks in advanced |
It is a Vbulletin problem and your member problem.
http://YOURSITE/admincp/options.php?...group=datetime And set your region's time. (This will be the default time for everyone.) (Also check Daylight savings time, if any.) Then http://YOURSITE/profile.php?do=editoptions Scroll down to Date and Time Options and set your region settings. (Also check Daylight savings time, if any.) Done. (This is also where your users may enter their own timezone information.) |
You didn't get what I meant. It's not about user options or vbulletin fault. It's a bout apache.
When I reinstall Apache, it will fix the problem sometimes. But now it won't fix it anymore. Thanks for the 2 cent anyway :) |
I use this in a shell script to update my server time
Code:
ntpdate europe.pool.ntp.org |
Thanks. I've fixed it already. It was about OS time. Thanks for the helps :)
