Is there anyway to edit the feed and filter out what is shown and what is not?

Currently I`m using the rss2 feed and exporting the latest posts to my website homepage, parsed through carp. It works fine, but it also shows in the feed, the name of the forum and the forum description at the top (meta description). I would prefer just the post links, not the forum title and description because space is limited on my website.

Can these be removed somehow?

If this can`t be done, is there a mod that does the same thing but is more flexible in what is being output?

I`m after an rss feed from our forums of the most recent topics.
