Thanks So If I use a file system Ill have To Import Data Using FTP to My computer to back up?

Im not real Sure what This Does

IF It takes the Attachments From The Database and stores them on the server , Will this make photos talke longer to load ? Or will this speed my site up im 1 mth old and over 50MB in attachements
