Dayabase Sharing
I am about to upload a new vbulletin forum. This is my second forum (on the same server)and I wonder whether or not it is possible or advisable/advantageous to use the same database as the existing forum for the new forum?

In the vB config file, set a TABLE PREFIX that is different than the current prefix. As for whether having two vB installs using the same database would cause problems, that depends on your server setup, the traffic on your boards, and MySQL settings such as the number of max connections allowed.

I would always advise to use seperate databases if possible, as it will give you more flexibility.
