blank page when installing tars?
 

The initial arcade installation went very smooth, but I can't get any of the additional games I downloaded to install. They are all in the tar directory and show up in the tar list in the ACP. I click to either install one game, or to install all, and both do the same thing...just gives me a blank screen on the right side of the ACP.

I've tried different games from different sites, several of which are functioning on ibproarcade on another site. I've tried installing a zip and get errors on it, but am not interested in installing any zips to begin with.

I have tried using different browsers with no luck as well. I've CHMOD'ed all the game files to 777 and all the arcade directories are 777.

All the included games are working fine, it's just an installation issue.

Any thoughts?

I'm having the same issue and it's more than a little annoying that no one is answering this question. If I have to manually install 1500 games it isn't worth having.

I had to manually install the games on one forum, and was determined to not have to do it again on the second. So, I tried to see if any games were the culprit. I deleted the first tar (Acnos Energizer), and did install all. A bunch of them did go through, and at that point I could tell what game it was hanging up at, so deleted that tar and did install all again. I think it only hung up on two games, which I installed manually.

It seems like it really is certain games that cause the problem, even if the php is closed off properly, etc.

If it still does it after deleting the first tar, just try deleting them from the top of the list one by one and try installing all again until something goes through.
