Latest Posts on Website

I am in the middle of designing a website for my forum and I was just wondering if there was a code that would allow me to show the 5 latest posts from the forum.

I am a noob when it comes to code so hopefully it is possible and wont be to difficult :erm:

First:

Then to change the 10 threads into 5 (like you want):
