It displays better if you surround the google code with a centered table.

Here is an example of the end result and surrounding lines:

-Raymond

PHP Code:

alt="$vbphrase[post_new_thread]border="0" /></a><else />&nbsp;</if></td>

<
td align=center>
<
script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client "pub-YOURCODE";
google_ad_width 468;
google_ad_height 15;
google_ad_format "468x15_0ads_al";
google_color_border "1e519b";
google_color_bg "1e519b";
google_color_link "FFFFFF";
google_color_text "FFFFFF";
google_color_url "008000";
//-->
</script>
<
script type="text/javascript"

src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</
script>
</
td>

<if
condition="$pagenav"><td align="$stylevar[right]">$pagenav</td></if>
</
tr>
</
table

Is there a good place to stick this in showthread too for a similar result?

This only works at higher resolutions.

At lower ones it wrecks the formatting of the page.

there's two instances of alt="$vbphrase[post_new_thread]" border="0" /></a><else />&nbsp;</if>

the adsense code should be added to the first one or the second one?

MARKETPROFITS I like the mod.
But you need to check your forum I see 4 google ads per forum page, thats a clear violation of TOS.
Might want to fix that my friend:up:

Put it after this...

Code:

<img src="$stylevar[imgdir_button]/threadclosed.gif" alt="$vbphrase[closed_thread]" border="0" /></if></a>

Depends. You probably want it at the top of the page so that'd be after the first one. If you want it at the bottom of the page it'd be the second one.
