big problem with quick edit
 

I bought the skin greenfox and I guess everything else is ok... but you can't quick edit. When you hit edit, it will load the editor box, but if you type new text and click save, it won't save. It's like the buttons dead. Aside that, you can't even click Advanced Options because that button is dead too along with the delete.

Any ideas?

Check your postbit_wrapper template and compare it to the one in the original skin. I had the same problem, and the problem was that my coder had edited out some of the stuff from the postbit_wrapper template.

postbit_wrapper? I've never seen that template. I can surely say it's not on this skin, or as far as I can see (postbit templates).

I'd check the postbit_quickedit template. Do a search for the word advance in that template... That should get you to the right area to check out the button.

I even went as far as copying the entire "postbit_quickedit" code from my old working skin to the new ones "postbit_quickedit" and a few more and still no go. I have this nice skin but the editor is what's messing everything up.

Check your original skin and see if it is there. If it is, then you've obviously located your problem. But seeing how I'm on 3.6 and not 3.5, that might explain the different templates.

my orginial skin as in the default? Or the last skin I used b4 the skin update?

ok well I can see this is gonna be impossible to fix so here's what I want to know. Can anyone tell me what code to omit from the editor so that the quick edit doesn't load. Instead when you click edit, it takes you to the advanced edit?
