How do I send html email?

I'm trying to send an email out to my users telling them about the new website in my network, but whenever I test it and send email myself, (to gmail), the email appears in plain text when I insert html....

Yeah i searched for it, but i didnt find nothing, but however the related thread thing helped i got it
