Activation problems / Special registration
 

Is there a mod to stop auto-registrations if there is no activation email. I cant use activation email, because at least 50% of users dosent receive an email. So it would be great if there is a "special registration" without activation email. But is there? :rolleyes:

Ok. I try to be more clear. The activation email is not working 50%. Hotmail users cant reach an email etc. My mailbox is everyday like this:

Is there an alternative? I know i am not the only one with this problem.

i can offer you an SMS feature, where they enter their SMS number, and you can send them an SMS with a code.
it will cost you like 20 US cents ($0.20 USD) per SMS though.

Otherwise, if you want to charge them, i can give you either 50 US cents ($0.50 USD), or ($1 US), or even higher, and they send an SMS to a certain number, they receive a response via SMS with a codeword. When they enter the codeword into the web site, they account is activated, and their phone is billed that amount (stops people saying "i didn't receive a code - only bills once they enter the code on the site).
