I see the portal as cramped and also its unaligned as the right colums are sent off the page.

I also have that style although not as default. Its pretty cool :)

Heh, that's because we've got one guy with a reeeeeeally long username, and his name happens to be bold as he's a global mod. It mucks with all kinds of fixed layouts. :D
