User Creation from URL

There are a lot script that would like to create a user account in vBulletin when a user sign's up on their particular software.

usually this integration is complicated and needs to use of API and stuff.

Can anybody shed some light on how a system can be written where the user info can be added just by using a SQL query OR more importantly a URL, such as http://www.forums.com/user_Create?us...=blah@blah.com and other option can be included as needed.

I would prefer the URL way, is that even possbile?
