help me prevent hackers please

ok so i just got this email:

because somebody was trying to get into my account. we have had multiple complaints that this has happened to other people.

is there anyway to improve on this. like 1. get an email everytime this happens to other people too. or 2. have vbulletin show me whose signing in and from which ip.

Yeah I get hacking attempts also by similiar looking ips.

i just wish there was a way that showed more information about IP's. who is loggin in with different ips and stuff.

i wish that i got an email everytime somebody used up all their 5 attempts...and which ip they were loggin in from.

you can write a plug in to when a user is logged in, it can send you an email using the user_login hook or something
