Super Mod deleted his attachments when he left

I have a backup of the database before he did this. Is there any way to re-upload the attachments from this sql dump and have them linked on the posts considering that he also deleted his account when he left?

Thankyou

Although Im not sure how to do this making a Smod who can permanently remove threads attachments also allowing them to remove themselves!!

Is a bad idea.

Yeah I hate that too. I think ours are to scared of us to go bad :P Just Kidding. We have a rule that nothing is to be deleted from our site. Nothing. And so far everyone has followed it. But not everyone will be honest, so I guess we are lucky.

Thats bad. I only give them permissions to soft delete. Only I can permanently remove messages

His messages are still there, he edited each of his attachments and removed them before he left. By default vBulletin doesn't have a soft delete for this.

*bump* Anyone?

Attachments aren't saved to the mySQL database. Since they're actual files, the only way to get it back is if your host has an auto backup of your site (some do, some don't).

Attachments can be save either way, as files or in the database.
