Login and Redirecting Problem
Hello,
I am trying to redirect ppl who fills the login information; <input type="hidden" name="url" value="member.php?u=$bbuserinfo[userid]" /> But it gets the userid=0 all the time, can i fix that? or can i read the username entry from the login form and redirect to www.xxxx.com/[username entered in the form] Another question is, I want to redirect a page when it detects a loggedin user is viewing it. It will check if the user is logged in, if so it will redirect to another page.. |
Where do you put that code?

Also i wonder if i can redirect a page in vbulletin when it detects a logged in user. For example there is a welcome page with login box but if you are already logged in, you will be redirected to forum.php.. I hope its more clear now:S |
you can't have the userid until the user is logged-in, so having this hidden tag inside the login form will mean nothing...
the only thing you can do it having a javascript that grab the username the user enter in the form to be duplicate in the url tag... but i'm not good at javascripts.. :( |
thanks for the reply,, i think ur right :)
anybody knows how to solve that? |
