Password pretected boards

i been sent here by vb to ask this as it means editing code (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=224928)

is there a way to make it so that everyone needs to put the password in as currently mods and admin dont have to.

There is, and i'm pretty sure it's an easy modification. Give me half an hour and i'll get it fixed up for you.
