I need to know

Is it ok to delete the .tar archive files from the server once the games have been installed?

Cos I have about 1600 games and the .tar files are a pretty hefty bunch taking up so much space on the server.

So is it ok to delete them after installation or is it better to leave them intact on the server?

Yes, you can remove all .tar and files once they have been installed.
