global.php on nonvb pages causes loss of form submit data
Greetings.
I've got a site which does an include of global.php to allow me access to various functions. This works for the most part (it seeems so far), but I've run into an issue on form submissions and page navigation. My php pages all have a config with includes for my functions and a chdir to forums to include global.php. Problem 1 is a search form. I enter data on a search form and submit data on my page, but when it goes to the search results page, there is no data submitted from the form. Problem 2 is that no data from the URL request makes it through. For instance: mysite.com/test.php?loc=show&id=5 On the test.php, I do an echo and $loc and $id are both empty. I'm sure this is a "simple" issue, but I've been learning by modifying files, testing, and reading online docs when I have problems. So I may have missed something that is obvious to many. Does this have to do with cleaning input arrays in global? Thanks for any advice you might have. |
What about $_GET['loc'] and $_GET['id']?

I knew it was easy...thanks so much....appreciate the help!

vBulletin has its own "unregister globals' so as he said you'll have to user the super globals instead.
