Using ImpEx v1.78 to import phpBB3 Beta forum
 
Has anyone had any success using ImpEx v1.78 to import a phpBB3 Beta forum?

I was able to import my phpBB2.0.22 forum using the ImpEx v1.78 phpBB2 for version phpBB2.0.21 import file. No problems there. The initial step "001 Check and Update database" seems to work, missing just a couple of extraneous tables, but any subsequent steps fail/fall through/don't do anything.

I fully realize that phpBB3 is still in Beta. I didn't realize I may never see a phpBB3 RC1 finalized and released within my lifetime. But, I digress. Sorry about that phpBB. phpBB2 is a good forum package; phpBB3 has a lot more to offer over phpBB2. But, vBulletin takes 1st prize, hands down.
