Search special letters

Hi

First I want to apologize for my bad english. I'll try to do my best ;)

I want to know if we can search special letters like this one /

I want to use it because on my board we search a lot of time by date. (we write a date in the title)

ex : 26/03 ( for 26 march)

When I search 26/03, there is no result!

I don't think it's vb the (only) responsible but I don't know where to search and how to explain that in english (so google is not usefull in that case :p )
