Send Mass Instant Messages
 

Hi Guys,

I send out an email to my members and got a lot of mails bouncing because email addresses are not valid anymore.
Sometimes it happens that the user is changing his/her ISP but not updating the emailaddress on a board.

Then I've seen that many of those guys with a not working email address entered an ICQ number, MSN number etc. in their profile.
I checked those numbers and they were still valid and used so I think about the following hack.

I am searching for a way to automatically use the webinterfaces of ICQ and MSN etc. to send out messanges to clients.

The hack should search for ICQ numbers, MSN entries etc. in the users profile and send an automatic predefined message to selected users.

This would be perfect and in some cases this will bring old members back to the board.
