Update to 3.6.5 question.
Hello,
My vbulletin version is currently 3.6.1 I am hoping to soon update to the latest version but I have one quick question. I have lots of custom hacks installed, would updating to the latest version cause any problems with the hacks or even the forum itself or is it a simple and easy upgrade? Thanks in advance. |

Read here, http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=221907
Also if you use vb advance you will need to do the following edits located in this thread. http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/show...855#post106855 |
If your custom hack is in a php file you will have to re-apply that hack.
If your custom hack is in the templates, you may have to revert that template in which case you would need to re-apply those hacks as well. Most, if not all, hacks that were applied in 3.6.1 should work with 3.6.5... hope that helps. |
I did a full upgrade & no templates were edited, everything works....

From 3.6.4 to 3.6.5 there were no template changes. But from 3.6.1 to 3.6.5 there definately is template changes.

Thanks for all the help.
