choosing photo album / gallery
 

I know its a popular question but thats the problem. Having number of hacks out there under different names for various versions of vbulletins, I'm having hard time finding appropriate photo album mod. Or at least I'd like to see whats out there and compare.

So I was hoping to hear some suggestions.

Key features I'm looking for are:

* file system instead of db (as I have over 1000 jpg and mpg files from old phpgraphy album that I need easily transfer)

* users can upload and have their own albums

* individual images and folders can be masked by usergroup permsission (not everyone wants to see me naked at that party)

thats pretty much all i need.

I'm running vbulletin 3.6.4. no other hacks/mods installed.

PhotoPlog vBGallery... It's a paid for modification, but imho it's the best one out there for the price, and decent support :)

I'm looking at the features and I dont understand if files are stored in folders or db?

also "Permissions by category" does that include permission per image? what catergory? user group? or its own catergory
