i'd like to know how to get rid of the "Additional..' under the Reply Field.. and i would also like to lose those icons if you can help with that. Thanks for the fast reply..

I'm trying to make the BB as simple as possible and disable some of the features like the onin in this secreen shot. I don't want people posting images, etc.. so there is no reason for them to have the panel "Additional Options".. can this be turned off?

I'd love an answer to this question myself.

Basically when someone posts a new thread, in the Additional Options area there is a box entitled Miscellaneous Options.

Quote:

Miscellaneous Options

Automatically parse links in text
Automatically retrieve titles from external links
Disable smilies in text

Is there anyway to autoset these for a usergroup or to simply move these options to Edit Options so it is not viewable when someone makes a post?

no one know this answer?

What do you want to do, just not display those options? You can search in templates for misc_options and remove them where you don't want to see them, or change the condition for when they're shown.

You posted vb4 code, I think. This is a vb3 thread. :) I really need to load up a copy of vb3 on my development system.
