External Subscription Manager?

Hello.
I use an external script to allow my members to buy a membership.

I use an external method because the main aspect is not forum related.

Is it possible, after their payment is confirmed, that they are upgraded in the forums automatically too?
I'm using a CMS which integrates with the User DB.
