I've set a reminder up on my pc so that at 5pm it pops up a vbulletin webpage with the images from the local traffic cameras in our area so I can look at the traffic.

I also use the AA traffic website (http://www.theaa.com/travelwatch/travel_news.jsp) to see if there are any bad areas.

What I would love to have the traffic info and the pictures on one page so I dont have to click about.

What I'm basically after is, is there a way of writing a script, javascript or whatever which will goto the aa website above, click on liverpool and return me the picture and the road text above it to allow me to show it on my custom page ? that way I have the camera pictures and the road map / text all on one page.

If not is there a way of imbedding a Iframe or something that will give me the same thing ?

sussed it anyhow

extracted the form info off the website, copied it onto a blank webpage, then put a onload submit form bit of javascript.

put this inside an iframe with another bit of code to move the scroll bars into the correct position so the bit of the screen I wanted was in the top left hand corner.



The embedded this into another iframe cropping off all the crap I didn't want to be shown.

with a noborder tag and no scrollbars it looks like its part of my site
