What vB version are you using?

TheBlackPoet 02-23-2007 01:27 PM

3.63 I believe.. when they were having those back to back versions i lost count in the melee.... its dfinitely 3.63

There is no eval on line 1123 of private.php in vBulletin 3.6.3.

Please make sure that you have uploaded all files for the version of vBulletin you are using.

i remember when i upgraded last.... it was the version that didnt change the version number.. so i am still looking at version 3.62... but i DID the upgrade....

anywho.... the problem didnt present itself as such until recently... i am assuming it is a hack i installed.... so i am going back through all the hacks that are related to PM.... and unistall one at a time to eliminate this bug....

i hunted the problem down like the rabid dog it was......

a note to other not-so-good-hack-intstallers......

if you have a problem with a forum that you previously didnt... you can turn off your hacks to make sure its not a vb issue.. that way you can narrow down the problem..

anyway... my problem was pm... so i hunted down all the hacks that related to that.. and turned them off via plug-ins. (deactivated)... then tried to pm after each deactivate.. i finally got to the AUTO PM hack.... after i installed it, apparently, i didnt test it aftwards... (my mistake) which compounded my frustrations...
