Is newattachment.php off limits?
 

Except for the attachments in calendar hack (from vb 3.0), I don't see anyone here talking about using vb attachment system, I don't see any hacks using it, and God knows I've installed tons of hacks.

It's like everyone is avoiding it. I looked into it myself for a hack and got as far as an error message about attachment not allowed in forums, and even though I located and neutralized that phrase in newattachment.php, the error still displays.

What is the story with newattachment? Is that an off limits subject to be used ONLY with newthread, newreply?

Whoever is using attachments in his hack goes a totally different route.

Why is no one using vb attachment system?

no one can help me on that? :confused: :(
