Recommended classifieds software
 

Good evening all. I am needing to find a feature-filled classifieds program for my site. I am running VB 6.4, and want features that will allow users to search by region. The only one I have looked into was Photopost Classifieds. Does anyone recommend any other programs?

I'm taking the same path and so far have looked at photopost classifieds (still waiting on them to provide a demo as i'm not parting with $100 until i have tested). phpprobid and vbclassed.

The latter is Vbulletin specific and looks promising but i feel it isn't quite there yet. Alot of what is needed is in place but with only two levels of categories, no email on winning auctions, no basic sorting (or indeed sorting as default like you would expect - expire soon classified presented first) and other missing elements i can't pay the asking price for it. Its shaping up nicely but still needs a lot of work.

Phpprobid offers a bridge that is far from great for vbulletin (existing users need to have a random password assigned to their phpprobid login although new registered users are apparently synced with each other). This is my software of choice at the moment and i'll likely purchase this as it has the most features and is the most stable. But its not cheap :(

I've tried several others (that don't incorporate into Vbulletin) and as yet i keep coming back to the functionality of phpprobid.

I wish someone has integrated VB with geoclassauctions..... Haven't seen it yet.
