Wasser-what?
Well, Wasserstand means 'stage' or 'water-level'
and in this case it is a visualizer for download or upload progress

So if you use any peer2peer system for spreading your work,
you can show how much you already gave and your users can let you know how much they already got.

All you have to do is click on that green or blue arrowed editor-button and answer the questions that'll be asked.
And you will have something like this

• Well, you can use links as a filename if you need to.

Let's have a look at the acp settings

As you can see you can

• cleanout characters if necessary as %20 or _
• shorten the filename to a given limit
• en- or disable the PowerUp feature
• and choose the look of the output

you can have a clean and simple 'string' like this

or if you often have more than one Information to give a tabled look
(what makes it more eye-friendly ;)) like that

Tables will only split into multiple tables if any text is in-between.

All you have to do to INSTALL
is upload all files from the image folder of the archive to your forums image directory
and upload both icons from the editor folder to each and every styles editor directory.

Then import the xml via product-management and you're done!

I installed this and set the options then created a thread, i clicked the link to
add the details, added an attachment and the posted the thread but nothing
showed up

Just tried again with both the upload and download, i filled in all the options
like filname and size and so on, then posted the thread and still nothing shows :(

I take it this is meant to add a bbcode? if so, it hasnt done so on mine :(

No, this hack doesn't add a custom vB Code to your acp, the buttons are generated to call a unique javascript

Hm could you please try the following:
Go to [Text: Wasserstand & PowerUp] options, and deactivate both wasserstand and powerup. click save
reactivate and save again.
I do not know why, but sometimes settings are not saved correctly :(

then copy and paste thisand screenshot the result (posted, no preview! )

Hi Sid, thanks for the reply, i did exactly what you said and still no effect, see image.
I have a feeling it will be incompatible with some other hack/hacks that i have installed, dont ask either, the list is endless lol :o
I think this is one of those hacks that i cannot use, I don't really need it either but i was interested as it could be used for the torrent section i have :) oh well, great hack m8, loks nice and simple and crisp looking, well done :)

well as always if two hacks collide:
try to change the plugin executionorder ;)
