Question on merging styles?
I am currently using a fixed style but would like it to ne fluid to have more room. Can I just merge the fluid style into my surrent fixed style or am going to have to just create a seperate style and edit ALL my templates again? I have a lot of stuff I'm going to have to edit if have I have to add all my mod again. Thanks

Why not just make it a child style so it inherits all the template edits, and you have a fixed and a fluid style?

Well, merging and creating child styles are 2 completely different things. But to make a style a child style of another just go to your admincp > styles and templates > style manager > and under each style, you have an "All Style Options" dropdown menu. Click that and either go to "Edit Settings" and change the "Parent Style".
Hope that helps |
I created a new fluid style with my fixed style as the parent but everythin was still missing as far as added mods and my cmps was all messed up.

Are these the same style just one fixed and one fluid? Have you checked the CSS to see if you need to change any of the settings back?

They are the exact same thing except one is fluid and one is fixed.

Try editing style variable "outertablewidth" instead of merging styles. Most likely it will work.
