Flash VB Copyright
 
This template edit replaces the default copyright text in the footer with a little flash file.
The flash file is clickable linked to vbulletin.com. Also full copyright message shows up when rolled over with mouse. See site demo.

Installation For Light backgrounds( for dark see below):

Download the vbversion.zip
Extract it.

Upload the vbversion.swf to /images/buttons/ on your server.

Login into your Admin Panel.

Go to Styles and Templates > Style Manager > (Choose the appropriate theme) Select Edit Templates from the drop down list.

Find the template:
Footer >>

FIND:

Some flash files can have hidden content, i guarantee this file is free from any hidden content like spyware etc..Only use the included swf file in the zip file do not hotlink swf files from other domains..

you can't "alter" the copyright, that does not mean you can't change its look...

you can display it the way you like... with a font larger than 7pt, in any place you want on the site...

Im looking at a way of pulling the text from an xml or text file which will make changing the vb version easier...

my personal view of the version or the copyright is that if you loose your time giving it a style, you really need something to do with your site... this is one of the last things that need a flash to display it... but anyway... some guys make fun of anything...

well now 3.6.5 is out, so maybe you should of made one that just had:

I hope this isnt the start of continous vb upgrades again...
New version of mod with text file input will be released this weekend..

Thanks for this I'm using it on GruntHalo but it says the wrong version, because I have v3.6.5 but it says v3.6.4 but thats alright! :) Nice mod thanks!
