Per Forum & Usergroup Thread Subscriptions

I would like the ability to turn off the global thread subscription but enable thread subscriptions based on the usergroup, forum or a combination of the two. I can't believe VB does not have this feature.:)

Is there a chance this is already in VB and I have overlooked it somehow? No replies makes me feel like I am the only one missing something.
