I added Xfire to the list of Instant Messaging programs in the profile (not using a custom profile field). How do I create an extra variable like $bbuserinfo[xfire]?

I didn't.

I added the spot in the profile part for it. I need to add a variable now (called $bbuserinfo[xfire], lime aim is $bbuserinfo[aim]) so I can make it usable.

How did you acomplish this?

I edited one of the templates. I can't find which template I edited because I removed it from the template. Now i keep getting an error about "Xfire not being defined as $validfields in class_dm.php" and can't remove it. I don't have any Xfire terms in ANY of my templates (did a search for it) or in any of the php files. I rebuild cache for everything and can't get rid of the error.

I either need to get rid of the error or create $bbuserinfo[xfire].

I added it under Modify User Options Templates > modifyprofile.

How do I create $bbuserinfo[xfire] or a field that is usable. I want to put Xfire in that list really bad.

Editing a template doesn't add the function...you need to actually do a file edit or a plugin for that....

that is what ive been asking how to do.
i want to know how to actually add that variable to make it work..
