php-nuke 7.9/8.0 and vb 3.6.4 integration mod?

I want to use phpnuke as my CMS, but it doesn't appear to be possible to integrate the users. Am I wrong?

All I want is for my users to be able to submit news and maybe comment on the articles in phpnuke. vbulletin can handle pretty musch everything else.
