Auto Posting New Member Info
 

Hello!

This is a little tricky for me to explain, so apologies if it seems odd.

Basicaly, I want the details of a new member to be posted automaticaly (like the report a post function does) when they register. I don't want the IP or email included, just their username etc.

Sort of like the notification of new member email that gets sent out, but only as a post.

Is this even possible?

you could do this using the Welcome thread hack... just have it call whatever info you want. depending on which vB version you are using, you may have to modify it to work. but i use it for this exact reason and have the post made in an administration section in which only staff members can access.

I'm running 3.6.4 and I think what you're describing is exactly what I'm after. Thanks! xD
