installing ioncube on windows server
 

I'm trying to install ionCube Loader on a Windows 2003 server. I followed the directions - I have the right files in the ioncube folder, modified php.ini, and restarted IIS, but it isn't installed. I read something somewhere about having to put the ioncube folder in a specific place if installing on Windows, but not where that would be.

Does anyone have any insight into this?

try to run the included ioncube-loader-helper.php this will help you in determining what the problem is.The "special folder" is only used when you configure ioncube for runtime loading but since you mentioned editing php.ini you want to install it "globally" .Run the helper it will tell you which loader you need and what to change in php.ini
