REDIRECTING site.com -> site.com/forum OK?
I currently am almost at the release stage of a forum and have some mods working on wrapping the project up. I'm working on the CMPS page at the moment, which will be site.com. The forums are situated at site.com/forum.
Is it SEO viable to redirect site.com -> site.com/forum until I get the site.com index up and running? I don't want to keep everyone waiting on a coding project that's taking a lot longer than I thought. I want to start getting a community now and worry about the index later, which is community-driven anyhow. What's the best way to go about this? 301 Redirect? |
