merging shoping cart sitemap with vbb

I have it where my store products are dynamicly added. Not sure if this will help my seo but, its got to make sence to have 1 sitemap. Anyone wants the code i can make it a mod, etc. I was thinking it would be better to just have the 1. What do you think? Did i waiste my time.
