Laptop Question: Gateway in particular.
 
How are Gateways these days? I had horrible problems with their computers (and so did a bunch of friends) about 3-4 years ago. But maybe things have changed. I need a basic laptop. Nothing fancy but not totally underpowered.

I have been doing some reasearch and this Gateway is the best all around laptop on paper I can find for the price. + I found a $50 off coupon code. Gateway NX570X around $700

Get a Dell Dude.......... :D I had a Gateway laptop before my Dell and love the Dell way more. I'm using an XPS so it was kind of costly but I bought it on Ebay. You can find some excellent deals there.

I bought my gateway at bestbuy and kinda happy i did. I had to use the limon warrenty 2 years into it. Got me a nice new shinny laptop that was nicer than what i had and got 100 dollars back :)
