Copy-Paste Differences from 3.5 to 3.6 for Live Links
 

I haven't updated to 3.6 yet because I'm wary about losing a feature that I currently use pretty frequently. If I were to go to another message board or blog or even an article and I just highlight a section of text with links and thumbnails embedded I can hit copy and then paste it right into a post on my board and all the links are automatically live (sometimes the pics from blogs have problems but that's minor). When I try to do this on other vbull forums, it doesn't work.

Does anybody know what this feature is called? Is it based on a setting in the CP?

Is it just because I'm the admin on this board that I get this ability?

If I update to 3.6 will I likely lose the feature?

It's called WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get), and it's built into vB, just on most forums need to be enabled either globally via the admin cp or your user control panel... you will not lose this feature...
