adsense hugely missing the mark on ads, need help blocking certain words from adsense

What I hate about adsense is you can not ban keywords only sites. Are there any ways to trick adsense into not seeing certain words that return bogus ads? I thought I saw something about replacing some text as an image of that text but I can't find the thread. Thanks for any help!

I haven't seen such a hack.
Anyhow, I am blocking some pages from my Adsense and it works perfectly.
