Running vbBux/ vbPlaza on a big-board?

Does anywhere run this modification on a large forum? ( > 1,000,000 Posts, Highly active...etc...etc..)

Do you experience any lag or performance issues with this modification? I received some reports regarding speed and would like to see if they agree with other Administrator's findings so I can narrow down the problem.

I think it may depend on the options you choose to run but I haven't experienced any issues.

I run some big boards with 900,000 posts and members have found that after disabling the store due to the exploits that the forum does run faster. I do not think people with fast Internet would notice to much difference, although in saying that some with fast Internet are saying they can notice a huge difference but slow Internet users have definately noticed the difference. We had a few of the functions on and that showed up in the posts like gifts, ribbons, colored usernames and titles etc.

Total # of posts is irrelevant... how many users online?

Are you concerned about server load, slow page generations, or slow page downloads?

Well, just in case, 200 at slow times approx to 600 members at peak times approx on at a time, with a peak of 1000 on special occasions. When the vbux was disabled and the members said all that, there were around 500 on at the time. Hope that helps.
