Limit forumhome and Hz menu as vb.org

Hello,
my forumhome is too long :-(
I'm trying to create an horizontal menu like that applied here on vb.org

http://show.imagehosting.us/show/193...-1_1939691.gif

but I don't know how to do this, becaus here it seems they are using different category and sub-category styles.

Is there a tutorial or a style template mod to perform this task?

Thank you :o

look for a hack by amykhar which does this. The menu at the top is just css.

I've looked at amykar mod that allows to hide some forum on ForumHome but I think here on vb.org they are using also a template mod. For example as you can see this category
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=184
Sub-Sections : vbulletin Article Depository and this one
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=218 Read An Article
have a style different from that on a common vbulletin.
Maybe my 3.54 vb ha different styles from 3.6x as concern category and subcategory?

Hiding a Forum on ForumHome is as simple as setting "Display Order" to 0 for the forum in your Forum Manager.

Yes, but in this way that forum it's not displayed on the Archive and I think this isn't good for search engine?

The problem isn't how to hide forums on forumhome or to create sliding door effects with css.

My problem is understanding how Vb.org have used such category/subcategory styles on pages different from forumhome: Articles, Mod, Styles.

Thank you for your attention :)
