.htaccess help

How do I rewrite this url -> forumdisplay.php/vhosting-60.html
To this -> vhosting/

you can't do it that way. I mean you can rewirte it like that but the link won't work because 60 is the forumid that the htaccess give to the php files, without that it will show no forumid error message.

I'm using amykhar's "Split forumhome categories into multiple pages" hack and I alread rewrote "index.php?page=2" to "/vhosting/".

Maybe I need a redirect, not a rewrite.
