Vote ban?
 
How about a modification that lets your members vote-ban someone. If the person gets > X votes they are banned for X time. Users that vote-ban must be a member for X time and have X posts.

I could see how alot of arguments would come accross this on a board
Would be a very interesting hack :)

Well no one has ever used anything like that. I have very active forums and a system like this would have some pretty interesting results.

I'd use it and possibly more. I think the vote-ban would be the most important option though.
